We Give Back
As well as giving our students numerous performance opportunities, we also give them the opportrunity to give back to their community. We teach our students to use their gift of dance to bring joy and comfort to those in need. Our students use their gift of dance to help the ill, the elderly, and those who are less fortunate.

In August 2013, The Pointe Academy held a dance marathon for Rainbow Connection! The day was filled with lots of fun including an improvisation challange, zumba class and a DJ. We raised $3,500.00 For Rainbow Connection!
In July 2012, 50 Pointe Academy dancers participated in a dance marathon for Make A Wish of Michigan. Together the students raised over $4,000.00 for Make A WIsh. The day was filled with fun, laughter and of course dance! A group of our Level 6 dancers put on a skit representing the teachers and each age group broke out in to crews and created their own dance to share! We also had a talent show where students showed off their other talents besides dance! Overall it was a fun-filled day helping those in need!
